Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following professional Management, Skills and Craft training programmes for the 2017/2018 session:

A. PROFESSIONAL POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality Management (2 Semesters) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Kano, Lagos, Oshogbo)

ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Holders of HND and Bachelor degree in Tourism, Travel and Transport Hospitality Management and other humanities from NBTE/NUC recognised tertiary institutions and related professional regulatory bodies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

i Holders of at least GCE/SSCE/NECO wanting to make a career in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.

ii Airline, travel agency, tour operator, Protocol and related organisation employees, employers and fresh applicants who are holders of at least GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB wanting to make a career in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.


C. INSTITUTE FOR TOURISM PROFESSIONALS (ITP) NATIONAL SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS (NSQ) TRAINING PROGRAMMES

  • Level 3: ITP-NSQ Diploma in Front Office Operations; Food & Beverage Production; Food & Beverage Service; Food Safety; House Keeping Operations; Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service (360 Guided Learning Hours) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Benin, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Makurdi, Osogbo)
  • Level 2: ITP-NSQ Certificate in Front Office Operations; Food & Beverage Production; Food &Beverage Service; Food Safety; House Keeping Operations; Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service (260 Guided Learning Hours) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Benin, Enugu, Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Makurdi, Osogbo)

Travel, Leisure and Tourism Trade

  • Level 3: ITP-NSQ Diploma in Travel, Leisure and Tourism (Senior Officer Level) (360 Hours) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Benin, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Makurdi, Osogbo)
  • Level 2: ITP-NSQ Certificate in Travel, Leisure and Tourism (Officer Level) (260 Hours) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Benin, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Makurdi, Osogbo)
  • Level 1: ITP-NSQ Award in Travel, Leisure and Tourism (Assistant Officer Level) (180 Hours) (Centres: Abuja, Bauchi, Benin, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Makurdi, Osogbo)

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

Level 1:

- Candidates who wish to make professional/occupational career without the ability to read and write can enrol into this level of the programme;

- Educationally disadvantaged, non-certificated school drop-out and marginalized youth;

- Students about to graduate from secondary school system;

- Existing labour force – employed and unemployed;

- Tertiary education and skilled training;

 

Level 2:

- Holders of Level 1 Qualification;

- Ability to read and write with numeracy knowledge

- Achieving relevant qualification in relevant occupational profession skills equivalent to Level 1 Qualification covering 18 Credit Units

 

Level 3:

- Holders of Level 2 Qualification;

- Achieving relevant qualification in relevant occupational profession equivalent to Level 1 Qualification covering 26 Credit Units
