NIHOTOUR BOSS PROMISES SUPORT FOR MISS TOURISM ANAMBRA TO PROMOTE TOURISM

Mrs Chika Balogun, Director General National Institute For Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) - promises suport for miss tourism anambra state

 

 

Mrs. Chika Balogun, Director General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), has promised to lend support to the 2016 winner and crowned pageant of Miss Tourism Anambra State.

Miss Harmony Ujunwa Nwabufo in her efforts to encourage stakeholders of the Hospitality and Tourism industry in the state to explore the tourism endowments of Anambra State for the socio-economic benefits of the people.

while disclosing that it is the mission of
NIHOTOUR to partner with relevant stakeholders in the hospitality and tourism industry to grow the nation’s tourism through manpower training and capacity development, Mrs Chika Balogun stated the readiness of the Institute to assist the crowned pageant achieve her dream of promoting  the tourism potentials of Anambra State.

Miss Nwabufo who had earlier appealed to the Director General of NIHOTOUR during her visit at the Palace of the traditional ruler of Enugwu Ukwu na Igwe Umunri in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra state, Igwe Ralph said that by virtue of her position as Miss Tourism Anambra State, it has become incumbent on her to champion the cause of Tourism growth and development in the state.

She said that as the Tourism Ambassador of Anambra State, she is committed and willing to partner with relevant organizations in public and private sectors in ensuring that tourism takes the lead in the economic diversification bid of Anambra and the enhancement of the Internally Generated Revenue of the state.

Mrs Chika Balogun of NIHOTOUR and the crowned pageant, Miss Tourism Anambra State, Miss Harmony Ujunwa Nwabufo were at the Palace of Igwe Ralph Obumneme Ekpeh, Eze Enugwu Ukwu na Igwe Umunri for an interactive session with the traditional Monarch, members of his cabinet and youth leaders of Enugwu Ukwu on the way forward to grow the tourism potentials of Anambra state.
